Root RxPhysician-Led Functional Health

What We Test

The 100+ markers standard panels skip.

Most panels run a short list of markers and compare them against a wide, population-average reference range. If nothing falls outside that range, the visit ends there. Root Rx runs a comprehensive panel instead, and reads every result against functional, optimal ranges rather than the standard range alone, so dysfunction can be caught while it is still an early pattern, not after it has become a diagnosis.

The Routine Panel

Over one hundred of them, one blood draw.

Twelve systems, all from routine bloodwork, every marker read against functional ranges.

Going Deeper

Advanced panels, when the picture calls for it.

When routine bloodwork points to something deeper, we run advanced functional panels that map the gut and hormone systems in far greater detail.

Gut Zoomer

Vibrant Wellness · Stool & Urine

A complete map of the gut: microbial balance, pathogens, the gut lining, and the gut-brain axis.

  • 123 beneficial and commensal bacteria species
  • 76 pathogens: bacteria, parasites, fungi, and viruses
  • Inflammation, leaky-gut, and malabsorption markers
  • Gut metabolites, diversity indices, and phyla
  • Excitatory and inhibitory neurotransmitters

Hormone Zoomer

Vibrant Wellness · Urine & Saliva

A full hormone and stress picture, including how your body metabolizes and clears estrogen.

  • Adrenal hormones: cortisol, cortisone, DHEA, and metabolites
  • 21 sex hormones and estrogen-metabolism markers
  • Progesterone metabolites
  • Cortisol Awakening Response across the day
  • 14 endocrine-disruptor exposures
  • Bone-degradation and oxidative-stress markers

DUTCH Hormone Panel

Precision Analytical · Dried Urine

The gold-standard dried-urine panel, showing not just hormone levels but how they are made and broken down.

  • Androgens and their metabolites
  • Estrogens and estrogen-metabolism pathways
  • Progesterone metabolites
  • Cortisol and cortisone diurnal pattern
  • Organic acids and nutrient markers
  • Melatonin and oxidative stress

How We Translate Results

Every marker, explained in plain language.

Once your labs are back, the Root Rx clinical team interprets every result and translates it into a written explanation of what it means for your specific symptoms, not just a printout of numbers next to a reference range.
